Your step by step guide to mixing a perfect Boulevardier

Boulevardier drink.
Show your friends what tasty beverage you are mixing!


1 ½ oz rye or bourbon
1 oz Campari
1 oz sweet vermouth
Orange peel


Add all ingredients into a mixing glass with ice.

Stir well for 15-30 seconds and strain into a coupe.

On the rocks variation:
add all ingredients directly into a short glass and stir with ice for a cocktail on the rocks.

Garnish with an orange peel. Add a few dashes of Orange bitters if you feel like.

Old school cocktail, It was originally mentioned in 1927’s Barflies and Cocktails book. Supposedly invented in Paris. New Orleans has a variant, see the Boulevardier #2.
